Solve Absolute Value Inequalities "less than"
How to #solve absolute value inequalities -less than type.
Make sure the absolute value is isolated. Split the equation into two parts without the absolute value. One part is less than the positive of the number and the other is greater the negative of the number. Or you can rewrite as a compound inequality. Then solve.
