Edit small miss small
I had to catch up on work this week in preparation for my trip to Tennessee so I didn't get out in the field much, instead I made this short video to demonstrate how you can positively edit a photo without changing it too much and making it look almost fake. My goal when editing is to try and stay true to what I saw but draw the viewers eye to something specific. In this case I took what is a pretty boring photo of a fox on a driveway and tried to make it a little more dramatic. This was just a random photo that didn't make my keeper list. Not every photo you take is going to be great, probably less than 1% of them will be, but you can tweak any photo enough to make it stand out in a positive way. Take aways from this video would be to a. don't oversaturate, b. straighten your photo horizon first, or if no horizon then use the foreground, and c. edit less for realism.
