Little Town on the Prairie
Last week I took a road trip into central Kansas and visited a Prairie Dog town I knew about that also houses a family of Burrowing Owls. I made a couple mistakes, I used the dreaded 2x teleconverter even though I knew better and I forgot to turn off my image stabilization for still shots. I also fought some pretty rough heat haze as is evident in the video. But what a great time I had watching the young Owls.
