Inca drop red, a bacatuum from Peru, got the seeds from my mate Jukka in Finland, grown them last season and it’s a beautiful plant, had the test sitting here for a while so thought should upload it

Plants get to over a meter tall and need to be staked, a great producer of pods 2.5cm long, bit over 1 cm wide, that start off white and turn red once ripe, they take ages for the colour change but do end up red.

What’s it Like?
How Hot is It?

Crispy/crunchy thich pods. Initially a lightly sour tang comes through then it becomes sweet and has a bean like flavour come through, very interesting flavour profile as it changes as go but its really nice

Heat hit in the back of the throat and tongue, around mid heat, sort of a deepish burn. Heat travels forward then dissipates, nice burn but doesn’t stay too long.

All round great plant, grows pretty easily, great producer and the pods would go really well pickled as that would complement the tanginess, or as a powder.
