The Amigo Diablo Chilli is another great variety from Mexico. The plant grows well in a pot to 1,2 meter and would get bigger, if you plant it in the ground.
The pods are shaped like a small bullet shaped and have a fruity sweet flavor. First they start off green and end up a glossy bright red color, when they are fully mature.
If you take a closer look, you can see this chilli variety has slightly hairy stems. Use them fresh sprinkled over your dinner, in a delicious salsa, soups or stews. We use the Amigo Diablo Chilli in this delicious Jamie Oliver 'Pumpkin soup' .
