Hello guys, so today we covered lectures 165, 166, and started 167. Also we took a small quiz.
(Lecture 165) A Nice Loser Experience:
We covered finished up what we needed to do in the last video, but I was watching what Rick was doing to compare solutions.
(Lecture 166) Handling Null Reference Exceptions:
This part of the lecture deals with handling exceptions when null values are trying to be accessed. In our case when I tried to restart the level again, our RemoveAttacker() was trying to access objects that were destroyed, to prevent this we first made sure that LevelLoader was not null before continuing.
(Lecter 167) Start Our Options Screen:
We were given a challenge to create our settings scene. I got most of it done, but I am stuck trying to figure out how to connect the volume and difficulty slider to our game...maybe that will be covered in the next lectures.
