This was the b-side of “You’re Ready Now”, Frankie’s third disc as a solo artist since the 4 Seasons’ hit making run began in 1962. “You’re Ready Now” reached #112 in the US and became one of the early records in the UK’s Northern Soul scene. Following its initial release in the UK, the disc was rereleased and reached #11 there in early 1971. “Cry For Me” stayed on as the b-side for this reissue.
