Summer Wine comprised Mike Hurst, Ray Fenwick, Tony Rivers and John Perry.
Summer Wine were a studio aggregation featuring some talented British musicians in the early 70s. Mike Hurst was once a member of the Springfields and produced the early albums of Cat Stevens. Tony Rivers was with Harmony Grass and Ray Fenwick was the ex-guitarist of the Spence Davis group.
“One Fine Day” was originally released in the US in 1963 by the Chiffons. Their version made it to #5 that year.
