Horrifying Portraits
Ok we tried, sorry if this sucked.
We impulsively wanted a horror-themed shoot, despite it being only March. So, like the competent fellas that we are (jk), we made it happen.
Searched high and low for horror film stills that looked great, bought a wig and a bottle of ketchup, what could go wrong?
For starters, bugs seem to love ketchup. A tiny snail was found on Jerald. Okay anyways, we don't know what we were doing except that we had a couple of lights and an empty field. By empty I meant that there were probably 3 couples sat decently close by and we were definitely ruining their late-night picnic.
We didn't shoot any film btw, even though I know I mentioned that we brought a bunch of gear. I did load up the gw690 but I couldn't bear to "waste" a roll of portra 400 on a somewhat mediocre shoot.
Jerald did have 1 shot in his Pentax 6x7, but he had a battery issue which locked up the mirror. All-in-all, a pretty anti-film shoot.
Photos turned out better than expected...? I guess Idk but I do love the photo I left as the thumbnail. Looked decent at least [idk]
