Welcome to YOU Can Beatbox and in this episode, we're learning the Psh Snare. I realized that this is a sound that I never formally put in an episode so today we'll break it down. And if there are any other basic sounds you want me to put in an episode, make sure to comment your comments in the comment section below.
The Psh snare is another one of those fundamental sounds of beatboxing and is a variation of the classic snare. Its a great snare because its loud, powerful and very distinctive, and its not too hard to learn.
Do you remember back in the nineties when some jokester in your class would do something stupid and you'd be like "psht check out this guy." Or, lets be honest this is the internet generation, maybe it was a cat video and you were like "psht that cat isn't wearing gloves." The point is at some point in your life you've you've made the psh snare without even knowing it. You just build up pressure, release it and add a shh sound at the end. And with all sounds, more pressure is more volume and you want this sound to be as punchy as possible. So thats it for the theory and on to the practice beats.

2) B B Psh B ts B ts Psh x2
You're probably noticing that this is an outward sound so adjust accordingly in terms of making sure that you can breathe. Comment below with any questions you have and make sure to like this video and subscribe if ya haven't done so yet. This is YOU Can Beatbox and next time, we're be learning the hollow bass drum.
