"Hoo boy...Let's talk about the good stuff first. It went out of it's way to bring back the retro survival horror stuff such as Silent Hill and Resident Evil. (I haven't played either games, so I don't know how good they are.) There were some tense points here and there and the mirror trick was a good trick.

Now...there are some things that shouldn't be brought back. These small nitpicks do stack up. If they don't then yell at me in the comments. It boosts the algorithm. Let's start things off with the resolution. I personally don't like square screens. You may like it, but I want to see more in the game. Square screen limits my vision. That may be the intention for this game, but I don't like it.

The controls. There are instructions...for controllers. Not keyboard and mouse. Sure I could've used a controller, but I didn't think it was to make things easier. I thought the instructions were just a big sign that said 'This game supports controllers'. I had to figure out the controls for keyboard and mouse by trail and error. Didn't even used the flashlight until I was halfway through the game.

The camera. This is one of the things that SHOULD NOT come back when it comes to retro horror games. I really don't like it when the camera zips around the playable character when it feels like it. It should only do that for cutscenes.

Now the most frustrating experience I got from this game was the monster. Twice it got me when I just left the room. Call it unlucky, but the monster should seriously play a noise when the player is hiding behind a door.

Overall, the game...was accurate for the time period it was trying to replicate. If you want to form your own opinion, then play the game. It's free."
