(8) Cloud Layer FINAL: Create Beautiful Depth, Color and Light in Clouds
We will apply clouds to our final painting in such a way as to depict them with natural light, color and depth.
Using a tool such as a sponge, we will paint the clouds to be larger at the top of the paper and smaller towards the bottom to create a real sense of three-dimensional space.
We will use darker colors on the tops of the clouds and lighter colors at the bottom of the clouds to represent the natural light that would happen on clouds during a sunset.
And we will use several colors in three separate layers to get a richness of color in the clouds.
