SCAN2FX Depth Fixer: Exporting/Importing Depth, Restoring Holes and Modifying Colors with Photoshop
SCAN2FX Depth Fixer allows you to export depthmaps from your scans, while also re-importing modified depthmaps to generate new scans. This video showcases advanced techniques to fill holes in a scan as well as modifying the look and color of scan by employing Photoshop. SCAN2FX Depth Fixer exports the relevant information, and then allows you to make changes to the depth and color information with your favorite paint application. SCAN2FX Depth Fixer can then import the modified data to create a new scan.
For example, in the video, we restore a license plate in a point cloud that the scanner was not able to scan.
