SCAN2FX Depth Fixer Tutorial: Fill Holes in Scans with "Edit Depthmap"
SCAN2FX Depth Fixer allows you to fill holes in your scan by modifying each scan. Filling holes can also restore the color information for those areas in your scans.
In the video, we restore the windows of a car as well as part of the very reflective hood that could not be properly scanned. SCAN2FX Depth Fixer's "Edit Depthmap" tool allows to fill surfaces such as glass, windows, and reflective surfaces as well as any other surfaces that could not scanned properly or were scanned only partially with missing patches. SCAN2FX Depth Fixer restores the color information for filled holes.
