Crossing the Red Sea
There has been considerable speculation over the years concerning the place where the Children of Israel crossed the Red Sea. Theories range from the Bitter Lakes, the shallow water north of the delta or even one far-out idea that it was actually the Gulf of Aqaba near Nuweiba!
In this video I look at sea charts from the British Admiralty to point to what I think is the most likely place, but in those days I didn't know the likely cause: look up "meteotsunami" on Wikipedia or read Herodotus' account of the siege of Potidaea!
