We drove about as far west as you can go in Tasmania, stopping by a lovely beach where a sign begged us to only walk on the wet sand - the dry is used by various birds for their nests!
The day was cool and brisk breeze was blowing onshore - this is the Roaring Forties, after all - creating sufficient surf to keep any children happy. What I wasn't sure about was the chap I spotted some distance away at the southern end of the beach. Despite using maximum zoom I still couldn't be sure but it looked as though he was taking family surfing to somewhat of an extreme!
