MAJOR X4.5 Solar Flare | Sep 14, 2024
A major X4.5 Solar Flare was unleashed by Active Region 13825 on September 14th, 2024 at 15:29 UTC. This eruption has a strong Halo Coronal Mass Ejection associated(CME). Most of the ejecta is directed mostly to the east, the western edge of the plasma cloud does appear Earth directed. A strong G3 Geomagnetic Storm will be possible within 48 hours with the expected arrival date sometime late Sep 16th where aurora could be seen mid-to high latitudes.
