Major X5.8 Solar Flare | May 11, 2024
Active Region 13664 continues its X-Flare barrage and released its largest eruption peaking to X5.8 at 01:23 UTC this morning. The earth is currently in a major geomagnetic storm from the X2.2 Solar Flare released on May 9 and todays event could have another strong geomagnetic storm incoming sometime May 14 as another Coronal Mass Ejection is now leaving the solar coronal after todays blast.
