The European drug regulator said that the AstraZeneca vaccine was safe and effective
After a dozen countries, mostly in Europe, suspended use of the AstraZeneca vaccine over concerns over possible rare side effects involving blood clots, the European Medicines Agency, after investigation, delivered its verdict Thursday March 18 2021. As the number of accidents due to blood clots is higher in the general population than among those who have been vaccinated, the agency concluded that the AstraZeneca vaccine was safe and effective.
