Key Bridge Controlled Detonation: May 13th, 2024
On May 13th, 2024, the Unified Command overseeing the clean up of the Francis Scott Key Bridge Collapse used a controlled demolition to free the Dali. Crews are expecting to be able to refloat the ship as early as Wednesday, allowing crews to finish clearing out the shipping channel. This video was filled at Fort Smallwood in Anne Arundel County, approximately 4.36 miles from the Dali and the remaining spans of the Key Bridge.
