Get Ready For the Toads!
March chorus brings April effloresce! The Spring peepers and Woodfrogs have quietened down their thunderous chorus and left eggs and tadpoles in their wake. The Spotted salamanders have bred and returned to their subterranean habitat. An occasional adult salamander or chorus of peepers can be both sen and heard. But now.....now is the time for the American toads to move in. If you thought the frogs and salamanders were fun, get ready for the toad festivities!!
