Early Evolution of our Sun
Shortly after the Sun was born, it was smaller, cooler and more yellow than it is today. This visualization shows the Sun starting at this early age and changing over billions of years until today. A cutaway shows the changes to the interior structure as well. The data for the Sun come from a MESA model that I generated. Changes to the Sun over such long timescales also impact Earth's climate.
