Changing Earth Ice Levels from GRACE
The NASA GRACE satellite measures local gravity on Earth and can be used to track changes to the ice levels. This visualization shows Earth ice levels changing over time from 2003 until 2017. The most noticeable changes during this time period occur in Greenland and Antarctica. In the visualization, red areas denote decreasing ice levels while blue areas show increasing ice levels.
