Volvo P04D9-00 trouble code: Reasons and Solutions
The P04D9-00 code means that your Volvo sees the problem with the EGR valve or cooler and makes the conclusion that less air flows trough the EGR than expected. It doesn’t have any kind of sensors to detect it directly, so it makes indirect conclusions that the airflow is low.
