CIO#1-3: IT operation
In this video, I explain the difference between an "information system" and an "information technology." Then, I enumerate different IT assets and IT management capabilities that organizations use to operate their information technology. Described IT assets are business applications, user interfaces, IT processes, Data, Users, IT Staff, and IT infrastructure. The processes and organizations of IT management are also described. The goal is to equip you with the prerequisite IT knowledge required for the course.
