Eagle Point Carl's Jr 10th Anniversary Special!
Eagle Point Oregon, a small town 10 miles north of Medford, is a place I proudly call home. Eagle Point is known for its beautiful scenery. You won't find many chain stores here, although there is a Walmart Supercenter and of course, a Carl's Jr. restarant.
The Carl's Jr. was built here in 2012. In May of 2022, Carl's Jr. marked its 10th anniversary in serving the community of Eagle Point.
To this day Carl's Jr. has the distinction of being the only fast-food hamburger chain restaurant to serve Eagle Point. The city's population is growing fast but not fast enough to legitimize breaking ground on new restaurants. I hoped that we would have a KFC and a Taco Bell in Eagle Point by now but now is not the right time to create new businesses in the city. The coronavirus pandemic is not over yet and it still continues to threaten our way of life. The economy is also in jeopardy. Fuel prices are the highest they've ever been. The price of gas in town is $5.40 per and Diesel costs almost $7 per gallon. That means that it is highly unlikely that other famous chain restaurants will become part of our community any time soon.
I say that's all the more reason to appreciate Carl's Jr.! I love their hamburgers, perhaps a little too much!
Carl's Jr. is a boon to Eagle Point. Doesn't everyone love a good hamburger? I think that someday, Carl's Jr. will be just as revered in the hearts of our citizens as the Butte Creek Mill is!
