Hi, this is Matt, and this is a video on how to change the aspect ratio of an image. Of course, you can resize and change the aspect ratio of an image using software like Photoshop. But what if you want to do this really quickly online?
I’ve found a site that works perfectly for this: Img2Go.com/resize-image. I’ll include the URL in the video description below for easy access.
Here’s how you use it:
1. When you visit the site, you’ll see options to either drag and drop an image or choose a file. For this demo, I’ve prepared an image that’s currently in a wide aspect ratio.
2. Upload the image by dragging it into the tool or selecting it manually. Once uploaded, the image will appear in a preview window.
3. This site is great because it allows you to directly adjust the aspect ratio. It’s hard to find tools that support this range of aspect ratios, but this one covers them.
Available options include 16:9, 4:3, 3:2, 2:3, and more.
For instance, I often use 2:3 for certain projects, which is less common but still necessary at times. For this video, I’ll demonstrate using the 4:3 aspect ratio.
4. Once the aspect ratio is selected, click Start, and the tool will quickly process your image. It usually takes just a couple of seconds.
5. After the process is complete, click Download, and your resized image will save directly to your computer. If you’re on a Mac, it’ll go straight into your Downloads folder.
You can also preview the resized image to ensure it meets your needs before downloading it.
