Simple GIS Software Tutorials - Publishing Portable Map Documents from Simple GIS Client Ver 13.1
The version 13.1 release of Simple GIS Client, desktop GIS software, included new Quick Search and Data Explorer functionality for easy search and data visualization of features in your map. This functionality has also been incorporated into the version 1.3 release of the free Simple GIS Map Viewer application. This allows users to create powerful and interactive presentations that can be shared with colleagues or clients when publishing their map presentations in Simple GIS Client to a portable map document that can then be read by the Simple GIS Map Viewer application. This does require the Simple GIS Collaborate plugin extension for Simple GIS Client to be loaded in order to publish a portable map document. This document can then be shared and viewed with any users that have downloaded the free Simple Map Viewer application.
