Fully equipped and gas-free cooking in the Hilux Offroad Camper! We'll show you the complete Toyota Hilux 2.8L conversion with our new, bright camper unit (Cab #26).

Toyota Hilux 2.8L automatic with our camper unit, build #26! In this video, I'll give you a complete tour of the finished vehicle, from the Hamer winch bumper to the induction cooking without gas. This time, the cabin is significantly brighter than the previous ones and has some really cool extras on board.

The Toyota Hilux, along with the Ford Ranger, is one of the best base vehicles for pickup camper units. For this customer, we completely rebuilt the vehicle: OME suspension with a 3.5-ton gross vehicle weight rating, Nitrocharger shock absorbers, 6mm aluminum skid plates, BF Goodrich tires, a snorkel, and our 160-liter storage box. The entire vehicle weighs only 3,050 kg ready to drive, leaving plenty of room for luggage and souvenirs.

Things get really exciting inside the cabin: Instead of gas, the customers opted for induction cooking. A 2,000-watt inverter and a 350 amp-hour lithium battery are housed in the bed box. 350 watts of solar panels on the roof power the system. In addition, there are real glass windows, a 40-liter compressor refrigerator, a swiveling faucet, inductive charging pads for mobile phones, USB-C ports, dimmable lighting, and plenty of storage space with full-extension drawers. I'll also tell you what will change in the new cabin for the Abenteuer Allrad (Adventure All-Wheel Drive) models.
