In this video, I show you my new Camping Sail, or sun sail, for off-road campers.
This sun sail, which we developed together with the Hamburg-based company Tentsetter, is a great addition to a traditional awning.
Why a sun sail with an awning?
I get asked this question all the time. The Camping Sail offers me maximum flexibility for off-road camping. Setting it up takes only a few minutes (with a little practice), it weighs significantly less than a cassette awning, and I can adjust it perfectly to uneven terrain – ideal for my pickup truck camper when I'm off-roading and staying there for a while.
In this video, I address all the important questions: What is the quality of the material? How easy is it to set up the sun sail? I'll show you every step live, from unpacking to the finished sunroof. For the first time, in fact. Is it better than my awning?
The Camping Sail is perfect for anyone traveling with camper vans, roof tents, or off-road campers looking for a lightweight, flexible sun protection solution. Adventure off-road camping. The system's strengths are particularly evident on uneven surfaces – no rigid feet, but adjustable telescopic poles that adapt to any terrain.
