In this week's video we are following up on last week's video about safety systems used on Polish trains, including ETCS ( • Polish Safety Systems: CA, SHP, Radio-Stop... ) as well as on our older video about the cab signalling used on ETCS Levels 1 and 2 Full Supervision, as being implemented in Rivet Games' Train Sim World DLC "S-Bahn Zentralschweiz Lurzern Sursee" ( • European Train Control: ETCS Level 1+2 FS ... ). We discuss the signalling, guidance and additional information given to the driver via the Driver Machine Interface (DMI), recapping the speed control and taking a closer look at the planng area, orders and the information asociated with level changes.
Parital passenger service from Warszawa to Idzikowice on the ED250 Pendolino high speed train, featuring short tutorials about he speed control information in ETCS can signalling (11:04, 33:06), passing red signals with authority under ETCS (53:29), level changes in ETCS (1:00:54) and the additional information provided by the ETCS DMI (1:18:18).
For the fist time we are running the game without the HUD, for most parts.
