Having talked about the "colorized" position light signals Amtrak is using on the NEC between New York and Washington D.C. ("PCL signals"), this week we are going back in time to have a look at the mysterious Color Position Lights introduced in the 1920ies by the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad ("B&O CPL signals") and what is left of them on Sand Patch Grade.
Some free roam experiments exploring the handful of CPL signals at Rockwood and Cumberland Yard (03:00, 47:15) plus one full coal-freight scenario on the C40-8W "Dash-8" locomotive (1:06:55) on Dovetail Games' all-time great Sand Patch Grade DLC for Train Sim World 4, featuring short tutorials about the base structure of CSX signaling (18:20) and how to read B&O CPL signals (29:12, 34:00).
