STEM teachers are experts at helping students develop creative solutions to complex problems through experimentation, the engineering design process, and connecting abstract concepts to the real world. With remote learning, we’ve been presented with an entirely new set of challenges, especially in classes that traditionally involve in-person student collaboration.
In this episode of LearnOn Weekly, we checked in with David Poore (Engineering Teacher at Lincoln Jr./Sr. High School, Pennsylvania) to see how teaching during COVID has required him to adapt and rethink his hands-on learning projects, keeping them relevant to the reality of life during a pandemic.
