Friday Meal Project with Osem Bishulim Gets Underway
‏‎So two months ago Osem Bishulim approached me and thought with me about the fact that what actually unites all Israelis is Israeli family meals, especially those on Friday evenings. They asked me to make the beloved and classic recipes accessible together with the Bishulim website, the ones that must be on every table on Friday.

‏‎And from now on, every weekend we will start with a recipe that is part of this project - and all the recipes can be found on the Bishulim website.

‏‎For the first video, I brought back my wife, whom you love so much, to the reunion show🤣 And this time, couscous with vegetables in a few simple steps, and thanks to the Osem couscous that we all love and the chicken soup made from 100 percent natural ingredients, we get a delicious and authentic homemade couscous.

Ingredients:

For the couscous

2 bags of Osem couscous

4 tablespoons of oil

2 teaspoons of salt

1 teaspoon of turmeric

1 cup (240 ml) water

For the soup:
3 chopped zucchini
3 chopped potatoes
3 chopped carrots
A nice piece of pumpkin
3-4 small onions
A handful of celery leaves
4 celery stalks
Half a cabbage
A can of canned chickpeas, drained of liquid
A teaspoon of turmeric
A teaspoon of salt
Half a teaspoon of black pepper
2 tablespoons of Osem chicken soup powder
3 tablespoons of oil
2 liters of water

For the pot with the vegetables:
I cut the vegetables with a Moroccan cutter to get an elegant pot,
Put the carrots, potatoes, zucchini, cabbage, celery onion and the chickpeas in the couscous pot
In a jar, put the soup spices and oil and mix well, pour over the vegetables in the pot
Add 2 liters of water (up to a centimeter above the height vegetables)
Put on medium heat for 45 minutes
In a bowl, put 2 bags of Osem couscous
Add 2 cups of tap water (240 ml each) 4 tablespoons of oil 2 teaspoons of salt and a flat teaspoon of turmeric and mix
Add to the pot that steams the couscous (the couscoussier)
Put on steam for 20 minutes
Serve with love and appetite
