Under the term Meme → plural Memes one understands small medium contents in form of a picture, audio or video in the Internet and outside one spreads.The media content can make you laugh or cheer you up because the content has a certain humor.But the memes can also contain satirical or socio-critical statements.Memes are either self-made or self-assembled and taken out of their original context from sources of photographs, drawings, animations or films by other artists and media workers.In the Meme culture there are no borders.Memes are often declared as an internet phenomenon but in my opinion memes existed before the internet age.
See television, radio and newspaper.In newspapers, for example, funny drawn cartoons were published that had almost the same messages as today's memes.
