The Viper Naga, got from the UK and grown this 1 for a few Years but it's never really gone well until this year, nice and big, podded up so thought would have a crack and see what it's like, Marty heard that I was going to do so said he'd like to have a go too.. Grown this plant for a few years and now it's going properly, in a 30cm Pot its over a metre tall and bushy, had it in the sun mainly before, now up side of house with filtered sun, Loves it.. gets a fair few pods so fairly productive, pod shape can vary, with a lot that look like scorpions and some looking nagaish with a few sort of hab shaped growing too, will grow another few and see how they go this coming season, plus have the Viper "Carlisle" another version so will see how they all go

The Naga Viper was the Official holder of the Guinness Worlds Records "world's hottest chilli" record as of 25th February 2011. The Naga Viper pepper, with its rating of 1,382,118 SHU beat the previous record holder the "Infinity Chilli". This record has since been exceeded by the Trinidad Scorpion. In comparison, a Jalapeno pepper measures between 2,000 and 8000 SHU on the same scale
The Naga Viper was created in England by chilli farmer Gerald Fowler of the Chilli Pepper Company, BASED IN Cark, Cumbria. It is an unstable three-way hybrid produced from the Naga Morich, the Bhut Jolokia and the Trinidad Scorpion (some of the world's hottest peppers) Due to its hybrid nature it is unable to produce offspring exactly like the parent plant due to segregation of allele and therefore traits. The Chilli Pepper Company is continuing its work to stabilize the variety

How Hot Is It ?
An Instant Sweet and fruity burst that's not any specific chilli type, its there for a bit then goes to what Marty says is an Applish type of flavour, that stays there for a bit then dissipates, Great flavour whilst its there but doesn't seem to stay long.
Heat takes a bit to come then it seems to in stages, hits in the back of the throat and tounge and then builds but seems to stay at that level for a while then kicks off again, does that a few times and peaks at a decent level.. stays for a fair while as well
didn't get as hot as thought would but still pretty Hot, will grow some more and try those as could just be this plant and vary between them..
