Operation Thunder Beak 2x X Presses
Thanks for stopping by! This video is about completing the job Operation Thunder Beak using the X button to jump only twice. This is a TAS; this was done using save-states, and the final product was made by splicing the successful attempts together to make for a seamless viewing experience.

There aren't any truly crazy tricks here, but a string of small, simple tricks to save X presses.
First is using Bentley's bombs to make him airborne so that he can jump into Murray's arms with the circle button. It was deceptively hard to pull this off since rarely does Bently get any air after his damage animation ends, and when he does it's not for that long, probably a couple of frames at most.
Then the water tower section involves using one X press to jump out of the half-pipe, running across the half-pipe later to skip jumping over it, and another X press to jump up to the highest valve so that Bentley could descend to the lower one, which you can't go away from without jumping so it has to be the last one to be turned.
Last notable thing is going the roundabout path to get to the bounce pad in order to get to the peacock sign. The room for error for that small gap directly before the bounce pad is tiny, I had to reload my save what felt like dozens of times.
I want to end by saying that at this point I would have only used 6 X presses. How cool is that? My max, conservative prediction of 92 hasn't changed yet, but I guarantee you it will!
