A song about saying no.
Writer's Note:
Sometimes writing songs are difficult. They fight you at every point in the process, every line, every word, every syllable. This song was the opposite. I wrote this song on a Sunday afternoon in less than half an hour. This doesn't happen very often but when the song writes itself, it usually results in a really good song. The same was for "Only" back on the EVER album which took off unexpectedly. This song, without getting into too much personal detail, is about calling it quits to pursue yourself and your aspirations. See you next month.
