Written, recorded, produced in August 2021.
A song about collaborative chaos.
Writer's Note:
At the beginning of the month, I set one goal: don't make August's song another sad song. Such a constraint was quite difficult to maneuver around. This was actually the second song I'd written in August however the first one never made it past the arrangement stage as the song was already on the sad decline. Instead, QUARTER TO FIVE was written. Listening back to it now, this one is going to be one of my favorites from the year. Recording all the harmonies and getting them just right was so fun and I'm glad I was able to fit them nicely into a track. As always, I'll see you next month with yet another song. Only four months/songs left!
