A recursive meme created out of several different iterations of generally the same format of meme. The approval and disapproval meme template. This meme template has existed in many forms, and is constantly being updated with new source material. This meme specifically is an expansion of a previous meme template created by @lousy_doorstop depicting Greta Thunberg scowling at the approval disapproval Drake meme template and then looking on in admiration of the fictional Star Trek character Geordi La Forge approval disapproval meme template. Following the thread of the top half of this meme we see that Greta looks disapprovingly at the Drake template (arguably the most widespread of the format and originally from the Hotline Bling music video), Drake is then looking disapprovingly at the first two frames of the Vince McMahon increasingly interested reaction, which is used to show increased interest in whatever is presented with it. In this context it is Vince being slightly interested in the fancy winnie the pooh meme, which is used to show something normal and then an upscale version of that something. In this case it would be the first two steps of the expanding brain meme, with the final two steps being better. The next step of Vince's growing interest would be two different photos of late comedian Rodney Dangerfield, the first has him looking on pensively with a cigar dangling from his mouth and the second him looking at the camera with bemusement. These again are in reaction to the expanding brain meme. For the things that Drake does approve of, we now see the final two frames in this version of the Vince McMahon increasing interest meme, with him first reacting to a Shoebill Stork opening it's mouth slightly and then a lot, which is commonly used as a bad or corny joke reaction image, which is again in reaction to the expanding brain meme, however we can now see that progressively the expanding brain meme is becoming deep fried. In the final stage of Vince being interested, he has turned red and has glowing eyes, looking at, well to be honest I couldn't figure out what this was. I thought it may have been a Macho Man Randy Savage Halloween Costume but had no luck, if you know what this is please tell me. Please. The man is in tie dye and is reacting negatively at first and then with thumbs up to the expanding brain meme once again, which is further deep fried.
To the bottom half of the meme we see Greta looking on approvingly, joyfully, to the Geordi La Forge variant of the approval and disapproval meme format. We see Geordi holding his hand up to stop the stick drawing blanky mode variant of the cereal spitting he will never have a girlfriend meme. This meme is in reaction to two different photosets of Kanye West, the first which is assumed that they will never go blanky mode is from an Architectural Digest Interview with his wife Kim Kardashian, which then is relating to the expanding brain meme once again. The cereal spitting meme is in reaction to two stills from a famous, and earlier gif of Kanye West being caught on camera smiling to which he quickly frowns. He frowns at the first two frames of the expanding brain meme, and smiles at the last two, which is thoroughly deep fried at this point. Geordi looking approvingly, points his finger at the classic blinking white guy meme, which of course is from an episode of the GiantBomb series "Unprofessional Fridays" where video editor and podcaster Drew Scanlon is shown taking a double take at this line. Drew has his eyes closed in the first image while gazing at two images of Phil Swift from his famously memed Flex Paste commercial where he utters this line. Phil Swift is shown looking neutral then smiling at the expanding brain meme which is almost incomprehensible at this point. The final path has Drew's eyes open looking at images from an advertisement for the Waffle Handle, a product that protects your children from losing their vision to door handles. The image with no handle has the girl holding her hand up like Geordi and Drake, while the image with the handle protected has her pointing like Drake and Geordi in their respective positive paths. There is an added tilted Squinting Face With Tongue emoji, I was unable to find the origin of this as well, if anyone knows please let me know. The only true positive path that you can take in this recursive meme is all the way at the bottom, ending with this emoji.
