Slow Cooker Lasagna!
No need to heat up the oven for this easy Lasagna. You can make it in a Slow Cooker. I put everything together in the morning and then have it for lunch. Outstanding! (I use a small 2 Quart slow cooker for just my wife and I. Double the ingredients and use a standard size slow cooker for a larger family.)
Cook Time: 4 hours on low. 🙂
Ingredients:
Meat Sauce:
1 Onion, diced
1 Pound Mild Italian Sausage
1 Large Jar Marinara Sauce (or homemade if you have it).
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
½ teaspoon Italian Seasoning
½ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
Lasagna Noodles (any brand will work)
Cheese Filling Mix:
1 Egg
1-2 Cups Provolone & Mozzarella Cheese Blend
2/3 Cup Ricotta Cheese
1/2 Cup Cottage Cheese (optional)
½ teaspoon Italian Seasoning (for cheese filling)
¼ teaspoon Salt & Pepper
