Why Nakedness Is An Illusion
I want to share something with you that I've been sitting with for a while. It finally became a video, and I think it might land for you the way it's been landing for me.
Here's the thing I keep coming back to:
No other living thing on this planet feels naked.
Dogs don't. Trees don't. Animals don't. Only humans carry that feeling.
And once I really sat with that, I couldn't unsee what it was pointing to.
What we call "feeling naked" was never really about our bodies. It's about shame. It's the quiet, often unconscious belief that who we really are isn't enough — that if people actually saw us, all the way through, they'd turn away.
So we cover it up.
