A HKer's quick visit to Hong Kong. Has HK changed?
Finally after almost 18 months living in the UK, I flew back to HK for...just one week. Many people said HK is changed a lot in the past two years, but has it? I am taking you to a memory trip to where I grew up, including places like Wan Chai, Repulse Bay, Happy Valley and Causeway Bay, and places include beaches, the Peak, shopping malls as well as, where else? My church. My workplace as well.
People change. Places change, for better or worse. We have every right to be nostalgic, but we can't un-change what's changed. The beauty of moving on is focusing the present, and remembering what and how this place has nurtured me to the person I am today,
