Power BI refreshed by Power Automate a combined worked example
We used Power Automate Desktop extensively, and there are a lot of great things, but a few "What is actually happening" things. This week, we'll deep dive into our latest update to the Power Automate Scripts we use to refresh the parkrun Semantic model.
It is essential to recognise that Power Automate can significantly simplify and enhance your overall Power BI deployment. There are multiple orchestration options, and while for our channel we will (currently) only use Power Automate, you may select a different one; however, the logical and strategic barriers will always be the same.
We will also discuss why we are still using a manual trigger to initiate the entire process and step through the automation that enables all the subsequent scripts to run without further intervention.
