All measurable Quantities are called physical Quantities.
Physical Quantities are divided into Base Quantities and Derived Quantities.
There are seven Physical Quantities that are the foundation for other Physical Quantities i.e length, mass, time, electric current, temperature, intensity of light and the amount of substance these are base Physical Quantities.
Those quantities which are expressed in terms of Base Quantities are called Derived Quantities. The include area, volume, speed, power, watt, etc
The Units used to measure Base Quantities are called Base Units while the Units used to measure Derived Quantities are Called Derived Physical Quantities.
