Synth Stuff Ep. 18 - Korg EX-800
This the module version of the Korg Poly-800, which was one of the first (if not THE first?) polyphonic synths under $1000 when it first came out. I used to have a Poly-800 and it was never really my favorite...but there ARE usable sounds on here. These are all factory presets because...well, look at it - would you want to program this thing? Picking one of these up would be a steal if your collection lacks an analog poly-synth, but the Minilogue has really put the nail in the coffin if you ask me. Still a neat box and very 80's. Controlled via a Kawai K1. Much needed reverb/chorus from a Lexicon.
