I had a feeling Korg/Arp/Karp would bring back the 2600 at some point when they first did the Odyssey reissue. It's a classic synth, and it looks beautiful in a studio. The reverb is lovely - you don't see a lot of stereo springs out there. The layout of ARP synthesizers sort of makes you think a little differently too, which can be inspiring. I had access to a vintage 2600 back in college and this sounds just as good as what I remember, though vastly more stable. The only real drawback is that Korg really made too few of these...the 2600M is cool, but I feel this run was maybe a little too limited considering how quickly they were gone. If you have the means (and the space) then get yourself one of these!
