100% Yamaha Motif ES
A track by Rob Parker using the Yamaha Motif ES Rack as the only sound source.
I realize this might not be as exciting to do a "100%" track with compared something like, say, the Juno-60. The Yamaha Motif line was a series of workstations literally designed to make entire songs on. This track is really more of a love letter to the first REAL pro keyboard I ever had, which was a Motif ES7. For a long time, it was all I had and I made TONS of stuff with it. After about 9 years I parted with it, only to then pickup a Motif ES Rack a few years later to get some of those sounds back which, by then, were nostalgic to me. The Motif line was pretty big in the hip-hop world so I made an admittedly lame hip-hop track. No idea what I was aiming for here, but it was fun to make. In reality, who knows how many "100% Motif" tracks I did back when it was all I had.
