Yellowww (:
AlwaysLoveJemi here. Hope this is okay. It was written in a bit of a rush..
All of a sudden, I find myself being soaked with water, "What the hell?"
My wife laughs, "Sorry. You were off in your own world and I didn't know how to get you to come back to me."
I chuckle with her, "A kiss would have sufficed."
She kisses me, "What were you thinking about?"
"The summer that changed my life." I whisper.
Everyone will have that one summer that changes everything. It flips your world upside down, it opens your eyes to a whole new world, it changes...you. For me, it was the summer I turned nineteen.
--
I knocked on the beach house door and waited.
"Hey son! How have you been? Wow, it's been so long since I've seen you. How is your mom?" My father asked.
I rolled my eyes, "Good, pops. It's only been a year. Like every year before that remember? I come here every summer. Mom's doing fine. She got married last winter."
My father rubbed his chin, "Married, huh? Well congrats to her. What's the guy like?"
"Dunno. Don't care. Don't talk to him. I'll be going to my room." I left my father standing on the porch, and went to my room to drop my things.
I slipped out the window and ran down to the beach.
Some blonde chick came up to me, "Hey there hottie. I haven't seen you around before. What's your name?"
I told her my name, "Is there a party going on around here?"
"Yes, but you'll have to give me something for that bit of information" She said, biting her lip suggestively.
I smirked and let her lead the way.
After we were finished with our business in the washroom of a diner, she took me down to a secluded area on the beach where many teens were now swarming in, drinking and dancing.
"Thanks for the great sex, hottie. Here's my number. Call me." She winked, and punched her number into my cell.
I grabbed myself a beer and wandered over near the bonfire. A girl who was sitting there moved farther away from me.
I raised an eyebrow, "Do I smell or something?"
She shook her head.
I sat down beside her, "Then why are you moving away from me, cupcake?"
She rolled her eyes, "I don't like manwhores."
"I'm not a manwhore." I said.
She scoffed, "You just fucked this town's biggest slut after knowing her for two seconds. I can hear her from here talking about it. You're like all the other cocky, charming, sweet-talking, promise breaking, heart tearing players out there."
