42% of business owners do not look at website analytics. In this Lunch and Learn session with Results Repeat founder and marketing expert Ellen Thompson, learn 5 simple tips business owners can use to understand their website traffic in Google Analytics.

Learn how to review your Google Analytics results in 5 minutes a week (and avoid going into the rabbit hole!). Our short, 30-minute webinar helps you tackle common marketing issues.

Checking Overall User Behavior
Understanding how website visitors are using your website should be an important part of your marketing strategy. Metrics in this section allow you to gauge how many people are coming to the site, new and returning users, how long they stayed on your site, what the bounce rate is (if they came to one page and left immediately) and learn how to compare this data over a specific date range to another date range.

Review the Source of Your Traffic
Learn how you are attracting visitors to your website. Are they coming from search engines, social media, email, paid ads, or other channels? You can gauge how your marketing budget is working with this section.

What Pages Are People Going To?
You can see which pages people interact with first, what pages they are visiting the most and least so you can see where you need to improve, and where people are leaving your website. For most business websites that provide a service, you want this page to be your contact page or a conversion page that provides you with a lead. This is another important part of your digital marketing strategy and can show you where to invest your energy and budget.

Review Your Conversions
Setting up conversion tracking in Google Analytics can be a more involved process and should be set up by a professional. If you already have goals set up in Google Analytics, this is for you.
Goals are considered marketing funnel completions that produce a lead. Phone calls, emails, form submissions, sales for e-commerce websites, chatbot interactions, blog subscriptions, and more. Google Analytics allows you to see the funnel on your website and where people came from, how they interacted, and what the conversion was on the website.
